why kotamori.neocities.org?

i struggled with finding a fitting name for my site for a bit, but then i thought: i’m autistic! i have special interests! what’s one i hold very dear to my heart?...

Kota Mori is a Japanese actor. He plays my favorite character in my favorite movie: Sion Sono’s Bad Film. Here he plays the aptly named Kota :-), a member of a Japanese gang in Tokyo that fights against the Chinese rival gang who wants the city for themselves. Kota and his friends want to break out of the homophobic trading schemes of the gangs and start a queer-led, international trading post. He is just such a sweetheart and i adore him.

Not much later, i watched the movie Pinocchio 964, and who was that, as a side character… looking familiar.. Kota Mori? i rushed to find out, but for some reason it was very difficult to find an answer to my questions. i stumbled upon 2 IMDb accounts with his name that didn’t match up and google searches led me to the Japanese soccer player with the same name, but in the end, by dissecting the end credits of the movie, i got it. The Proof. It was him!!! Kota Mori!

After that rollercoaster, i found the right IMDb page and saw that he played a small character in an episode of the Super Sentai series: Timeranger. This then led me to watch the whole of this series and fall in love with it. Thank you Kota Mori!
