These first ever collages, in a Moleskine grid notebook, are made with only images from a magazine I got in France last summer called 'ARTSMAGAZINE'. I still have some images from this magazine I want to cut and paste, so there'll be more pages like this coming. This is a new hobby i'm now taking on. I hope it's one that lasts. I had tons of fun making these pages. I feel like a kid just not worrying about anything and letting creativity flow. Colors and shapes make me happy. I also liked the idea of not keeping a material thing like the magazine itself and let it die away on a shelf, being looked at maybe 3 times in its existence. Making a collage like this makes it way more meaningful. I observe the images with more intent and only choose those which evoke something in me. I put them in a specific order and make room for them. This way it also takes up less space in my already small room haha.
